Biography
Rodolfo Bebán (1938-2022) was a prominent Argentine actor and theater director. Son of actor Miguel Bebán, he rose to fame in the 1960s as a leading man in the series "El amor tiene cara de mujer". His cinematic breakthrough came with the title role in Leonardo Favio's "Juan Moreira" (1973), a performance that established him as one of the most important actors of his generation. With an extensive career in film, theater and television, he participated in memorable productions such as "Del brazo y por la calle" (1966), "Los muchachos de antes no usaban gomina" (1969), and the telenovelas "Malevo" (1972) and "El Gato" (1976). In theater, he excelled in Shakespeare's classic works and popular comedies of the 60s and 70s. He was married to actress Claudia Lapacó and had six children. He remained professionally active until 2019, when health problems led him to retire from acting.
