Growing up in Northern California as an all American Athlete with movie star good looks Big Spence began his acting career at the age of 16 performing in local theatrical productions. Big Spence realized at a very young age that he loved how actors could tell stories with their faces and set out to pursue a career in acting. Big Spence's natural talent and professional training in Acting has aided in the landing of several television, print, and film appearances. Big Spence's athletic physique, comedic timing, and dramatic rage is showcased in a multitude of performances ranging from critically acclaimed television series such as "Californication" to the 2007 Academy Award nominated film "The Pursuit of Happiness". Spence is tackling the Entertainment Industry one project at a time. Within his first year as a full-time professional actor Big Spence became eligible for SAG membership after working on the film "The Pursuit of Happiness". While on the set of the film, Oscar winner Will Smith took notice of the emerging talent and christened him with his Industry alias Big Spence. Spence's acting and creative production ability, in addition to his swagger make him a force to be auditioned, screened and casted.
