Biography
Thanos (Athanassios) Tokakis (Athens, February 11, 1980) is a Greek actor. In 2011, he was awarded the "Horn Award" acting award. He is a graduate of the Dramatic School of the National Theater. After the end of his studies he started working as an actor in the theater participating in various performances. He became quite known to the general public in 2005 when he got one of the lead roles in the Mega Channel sitcom Fifty Fifty. In the cinema he made his debut in 2009 in the movie The Bad: In the Age of Heroes. The films Universal and Play followed. In 2017, he wrote the script for the movie Cowboy while also participating as an actor in it. In 2019, he took part in various film productions such as The Miracle of the Sargasso Sea, Adults in the Room and Eytyhia. For his performance in the latter film, he won Best Actor at the 2020 Iris Awards.
