Biography
David Wu Tai Wai (Chinese 胡大為; born Hong Kong, 1952) is a Hong Kong-Canadian editor, director, and actor of film and television, known for his collaborations with directors John Woo and Ronnie Yu. He is also the editor of several international cult classics such as A Chinese Ghost Story , Hard Boiled, Bride of Chucky and Brotherhood of the Wolf. He has been nominated 12 times for the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Editing, winning twice for Hard Boiled (1992) and The Crossing (2014). He has also been nominated for several Directors Guild of Canada and Leo Awards.
