Simon Licht is a German actor, born on July 8, 1966, in Hückeswagen and raised in Hannover. He completed his acting training from 1988 to 1991 at the Konservatorium Wien and is known for numerous episodic roles in crime series, including appearances in “SOKO Köln” (as Dr. Marco Taleb, 2003–2025), “SOKO Leipzig” (as Dr. Bertram Hellmann), “SOKO Stuttgart,” “SOKO Kitzbühel,” “SOKO Potsdam,” “SOKO München,” “Polizeiruf 110,” “Tatort,” “Alarm für Cobra 11” (2000–2013), “Wilsberg,” “Der Lehrer,” and “Ein Fall für zwei”. His notable roles include Hans-Jürgen Wehmeyer as the boss in “Stromberg” (seasons 3–4, 2000–2008), Horst Mahler in “Der Baader Meinhof Komplex” (2008), parts in Oskar Roehler’s films “Elementarteilchen” (2006) and “Lulu und Jimi” (2009), as well as Peter Weller in the soap “Rote Rosen” (over 30 episodes, 2009); further engagements include “Beck is back!” (2018–2019), “Das Traumschiff,” “WaPo Bodensee,” “Hubert und Staller,” and feature films like “Lexx” as well as TV movies like “Dünnes Blut” (2020).
